Japanese temple goes on auction bloc over unpaid tax
Tuesday, October 30th, 2007A tax bureau is auctioning off the temple, which includes a 75-meter-high (246-foot) pagoda and Japanese garden along with several other buildings on a 34,000 square-meter (40,000 square-yard) lot.
The asking price: 3.5 billion yen (30.6 million dollars).
