Diamond To Be Auctioned By Christie’s

Christie’s of Hong Kong will auction one of history’s most significant diamonds next month, with expectations that bidding will top $6 million. Indian flower auction centre planned for Hosur

A Prince of Wales emblazoned snare drum sold for Dh17,500 at an auction in Dubai during the St. George’s Day charity ball.

Bonhams Hong Kong wine auction raised about HK$11.5 million.
The top two estimated lots before the auction, a double magnum of Chateau La Mission Haut Brion 1955 and a 1992 magnum of Screaming Eagle Cabernet Sauvignon, failed to sell.
The total for the 246- lot sale was close to Bonhams presale high estimate of $1.5 million.

Shanghai will put 9,000 car plates under auction in April, sources reported.
Last month, the average successful bid was RMB 32,169, while the lowest winning price was RMB 31,300, up RMB 8,799 and RMB 23,200 respectively from those in January. The average winning price hit the highest last December to RMB 56,042.
