India 3G Spectrum Auctions Ending

The auction for the Indian 3G spectrum service may be over by September 30, Telecom Secretary Siddhartha Behura said.

Yangon Jade Pearls and Gems Auction

Myanmar announced on Wednesday it would hold an October auction of Jade, pearls and precious gems in Yangon, despite economic sanctions banning their international trade.

China to auction Olympic items

China plans to auction off 20 million items from the Beijing Olympics, state media reported on Wednesday.
The auctions will be run by the China Beijing Equity Exchange, which sells off shares in state-owned enterprises to private buyers.
It is estimated the auctions could raise as much as one billion yuan.
